Was just genetically tested and the results came back positive for FAP/AFAP. Due to my age of 55 they’re leaning on the AFAB, but I have zero family history since I’m adopted. My 1st colonoscopy at 48 and they removed 12 precancerous polyps. 2 months ago had my 2nd. Doc stopped atfter removeing 23 polyps. All precancerous again. Stated that there’s more than 3 to 4 polyps every inch. Sent me for genetic counseling. Yesterday I received my results. My head is spinning.

You are very kind Lorna, I am just realising how many wonderful and FAPulous people are affected by this condition and quietly get on with all the challenges they face, many of them being very young. They inspire me greatly.
